The Foundation is not able to fund all of the applications it receives for Planning and Project Grants.  In order for the Foundation to identify projects for potential funding, organizations must submit a letter of inquiry (LOI).  Please note that the Foundation only accepts applications online. This automation of our system includes all stages of the application process: initial letters of inquiry, full applications and grant reports. We no longer process paper copies of these documents.

Project Grants 2013

Board approval of Project Grants occurs two times a year, in June and December.

Please be sure to review the goals and objectives for the program area to which you are applying, the guidelines for Project Grants and the FAQ page before preparing an LOI. Those organizations whose proposals best match the Foundation's funding guidelines and priorities will be invited to submit a full application.

Important Dates for the Foundation's December 2013 Board Meeting

• June 1, 2013 through July 15, 2013: LOIs for Project Grants may be submitted for consideration at the Foundation's December 2013 board meeting.
• Week of August 19, 2013: Organizations will be notified if they are invited to submit a full application.
• September 15, 2013: Deadline for submission of applications for consideration at the Foundation's December board meeting.
• Week of December 9, 2013: Organizations will be notified of grant decision.

Planning Grants 2013

Fax to File: During the application process, you may need to scan in and upload certain documents. If you do not have a scanner, please use the “Fax to File” tool. Just click on “Fax to File” and instructions will be provided.
