We are committed to four specific areas—arts and culture, education, health, and human services. Within these program areas, nonprofit organizations can apply for a Project, Planning, and/or Community Fund grant. Project Grants are one-time and multi-year grants to achieve specific goals within the four funding areas.
Planning Grants are strategic in nature and designed to assist nonprofit organizations facing a critical juncture due to significant challenges or opportunities.
Community Fund Grants acknowledge and advance the work of exemplary nonprofit organizations in the five-county Philadelphia region by providing unrestricted grants of $15,000 to $20,000 per year for a two-year period. The Foundation uses a nominating process to identify organizations that are then invited to submit applications.
All grants are limited to organizations located in the five-county Philadelphia area consisting of Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
