The Barra Foundation has switched to a new grants management system: Fluxx. The steps for accessing the new system will depend on whether your organization has previously applied for Barra funding.
If your organization has previously applied for a Barra grant, please follow these steps to access the new grantee portal:
- In your web browser, please go to https://barra.fluxx.io/.
- Click “Create Account.”
- Fill in your information in the “Primary Contact Information” section and check the box specifying you are NOT the first registrant/moderator for your organization.
- Click “Submit Request.”
- You will then be sent an email to create an account. Please click on “Verification Link” in the email to create your password.
- Upon creating your password, you can then go to https://barra.fluxx.io/to access the grantee portal and login with your new credentials.
- To connect to your organization once logged into the grantee portal, click the “All” dropdown on the top-left of the portal, and select “Connect to Org.”
- The window that pops up will allow you to search your Organization’s EIN number. Make sure you are using the correct TIN/EIN/Tax ID number. When your organization is shown in the search results, click “Connect”.
- You will then be able to apply for funding in the grantee portal.
- Please review the existing information in the system pertaining to your organization. If you find any errors or missing information, please reach out to us at info@barrafoundation.org so we can make the necessary updates to your organization’s profile
If your organization has not applied for Barra funding before, please follow these steps to access the new grantee portal:
- In your web browser, please go to https://barra.fluxx.io/.
- Click “Create Account.”
- Fill in your information in the “Primary Contact Information” section and check the box specifying you are the first registrant/moderator for your organization.
- Enter your organization’s number in the “EIN” field below and click ‘Search’ to find your organization.
- If you do not find your organization in the search, this confirms you are the first registrant from your organization, and you will have to create a new organization record.
- Please note that the user who creates the organization record for the first time will be the default “moderator.” The moderator owns the organization record and will be responsible for approving, denying or adding other users that wish to register and connect to your organization.
- If you do not find your organization in the search results, you can fill in the appropriate fields under “Organization Information.”
- Once you fill in the information and click “Submit Request,” your organization will be auto-created in the system, and you will be the default Organization Moderator.
- You will then be sent an email to create an account. Please click on “Verification Link” in the email to create your password.
- Upon creating your password, you can then go to https://barra.fluxx.io/to access the grantee portal and login with your new credentials.
- You will then be able to apply for funding in the grantee portal.
